Who is Del Blake: Music, Passion, and Connection

To answer the question that everyone is asking, Who is Del Blake?

I'm a Singer, a Songwriter, a Guitarist, a Producer, I'm also a dad to Lorenzo, Ella & Amelia and the Best Boyfriend ever to Magda (her words not mine). I live in London, where I was born, and my life has always revolved around making music, performing music and teaching music. I have a loving and supportive family, you'll get to hear more about them as time goes on, and I'm part of a wonderful community of musicians, artists, dancers, DJs family and friends all of whom contribute to my life in many varied and wonderful ways. The plan is to use this website, the blog and the mailing list to make more meaningful connections with everyone who crosses my path on this Musical Journey.

So you may have seen me singing in "How Sweet It Is - Motown's Greatest Hits" or with "The Drifters" or maybe playing guitar for "Jodie Abacus" or "Kadie Aquarius". Some of you might even know me a music teacher at Walnut Tree Walk Primary School or Neon Performing Arts. Wherever it is you know me from or however it is that we've crossed paths, I am super grateful that you've ended up hereat DelBlakeMusic.com . Hopefully by now you've Subscribed to the Mailing List and Downloaded the first Free Music Giveaway. 2025 is here and it's full steam ahead for me and my musical adventures. You can expect to see more of me in "How Sweet It Is - Motowns Greatest Hits" and at various dates with "The Drifters" and also starting this year I will be playing guitar for "The Honeyz"

If you haven't heard of "The Honeyz" they are a British R&B Girl Group currently composed of members Celena Cherry, Heavenli Abdi and Celena's sister, Candace Cherry. The group had five UK top 10 hits between 1998 and 2000, with "Finally Found" (1998), "End of The Line" (1998), "Love of a Lifetime" (1999), "Never Let You Down" (1999) and "Won't Take It Lying Down" (2000). Their album "Wonder No. 8" (1998) was certified Gold. After a long break "The Honeyz" are back on tour and yours truly has put together the band. Familiar faces if you've seen me playing live over the past few years, Milt on Keys, George on Bass and Leonn on Drums.

Hopefully I'll get to see some of you on my travels around the country with one or other of these shows.
